Mo’Nique-D.L. Hughley ”Beef” is Ridiculous and Embarrassing

It's sad and unfortunate that Black people in their 50s, and who have been in the comedy game for decades, can't handle their disputes behind closed doors. Mo'Nique was wrong for blasting D.L. on stage at the Fox Theater in Detroit. However, I understood where she was coming from. I just wish that she would've handled it differently. Unfortunately, it seems there are some of our people who still haven't learned anything from the Will Smith-Chris Rock fiasco. Black people can't afford to have these silly conflicts.

Terrorist Attack in Buffalo, NY, was About Hate

On Saturday, a White supremacist terrorist senselessly murdered 10 Black people in a supermarket, in a predominately low-income Black neighborhood in Buffalo, NY. The victims ranged in ages 32-86. Of course the media and the politicians, particularly those on the left are making this act of terror about gun control and mental health. This act of terror is NOT about any of these things. It's about hate toward Black Americans. Now more than ever before, Black people need to defend themselves against an enemy that has declared war on them.

Supreme Court Votes to Overturn Roe v. Wade Decison

On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn the landmark 1973 decision, which legalized abortions. Pro-choice advocates are incensed, and have held protest at the Supreme Court and in cities across the country. The Roe v. Wade decision was based on a lie. Norma McCorvey, aka Jane Roe, lied about being gang raped by a group of Black men in Texas. Feminist attorney Gloria Allred, abortion rights activists, and liberals ran with this lie to get legislation passed, which legalized abortion across the country.

Brooklyn Subway Shooting Suspect Arrested and in Custody

Police have arrested the suspected Brooklyn subway shooter today, the day after he allegedly opened fire on a train, in which 10 people were shot. Frank R. Jones, 62, was first identified as a person of interest on yesterday and has been upgraded to a suspect in the case. Authorities captured him in Manhattan's East Village neighborhood. If convicted, James faces up to life in prison. James is charged federally, on a terrorism offense. NYC Mayor Eric Adams stated, "We got him, we got him." Did they, really?

NY Times: Why More Black Women Should Consider Marrying White Men

On Friday, a NY Times article was making its case of why more Black women should marry White men. Supreme Court justice nominee Kentanji Brown-Jackson, and VP Kamala Harris were examples that were used of Black women who owed their success to marrying White men. While it could be said, that in order for a Black woman to be successful in White America is to marry a White man, it should also be stated how disrespectful this article is toward Black men.

Maxine Waters Tells Homeless Blacks to ’Go Home!!!’

On March 25, in South L.A., hundreds of homeless people tried to obtain Section 8 housing vouchers after false reports on social media surfaced. Would-be applicants crashed an event that was held by a nonprofit advocacy group Fathers and Mothers Who Care, which was established to help the unhoused obtain emergency shelter. The nonprofit was reportedly overwhelmed by the confusion, which caused Representative Maxine Waters to say: 'I want everyone to go home,' that triggered an angry response.

54 Years Ago Today, Dr. King was Assassinated

April 4, 1968, at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated by the U.S. government. Two years before his assassination, Dr. King had transitioned from being a peace-loving, Southern Negro preacher, to being a militant Black man who spoke out against the government's treatment of Blacks in urban America, as well as America's involvement in Vietnam. The U.S. government not because he was marching for Blacks to socially integrate with Whites, but because he was a powerful Black revolutionary.

Hostile Takeover of Mason, Tennessee

The predominately Black town of Mason, Tennessee, a town of about 1,500 residents, was going to benefit significantly from the construction of a $5.6 billion Ford plant nearby. Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower, a White Republican, accused Mason of 20 years of financial mismanagement, according to a report from MSNBC. Mumpower has demanded that Mason surrender its charter, which is reminiscent of historical expropriation of land owned by Black people.

Fallout From the Will Smith Slap on Chris Rock

On Sunday night at the Oscar's, actor Will Smith struck comedian Chris Rock in the face, after Rock told a joke referencing Smith's wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith's short haircut. Pinkett Smith didn't seem amused, and that's when Smith came on stage and slapped Rock. He then proceeded to sit down, and yelled at Rock 'to keep his wife's name out of his f***ing mouth. Seconds before the smack, Smith was chuckling it up at Rock's jokes. Smith went on to receive an Oscar for the movie King Richard.

Free Crack Pipes from the Biden Administration?

The Biden administration pushed back on what it deemed to be "misinformation", stating that a federal grant program meant to reduce harm to drug users, does not include taxpayer funding for pipes, used to smoke crack or meth. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the safe smoking kits are to reduce spreading HIV and hepatitis. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Biden administration are pushing this program, to get a handle on the opioid crisis that's destroying the country.
