On this day 100 years ago, the worst domestic terrorist attack in U.S. history occurred in the Greenwood District of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Over 300 people were murdered, 800+ were injured, 10,000 were left homeless, millions of dollars in property was destroyed, and billions of dollars were lost in the destruction of Black businesses. The Tulsa Massacre is one of many examples of why reparations should be paid to Black people.

On Wednesday, a fan in Philadelphia threw popcorn on Russell Westbrook as he was leaving through the tunnel. The same day in New York, Trae Young was spit on by a Knicks fan, and Ja Morant's father was verbally assaulted by 3 Utah Jazz fans in Salt Lake City. These fans have been banned indefinitely from attending home games of these teams. However, the NBA needs to do a better job of protecting their players.
